Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EU Cognitive Prep (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use https://www.eucognitiveprep.com (the “Service”), an independent practice platform for interactive reasoning tests. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the European Commission, the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), any other EU institution, body or agency, or SHL Group.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address when you create an account. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to that address, so we never ask you for a password and never store one.
• Practice activity: the tests and questions you attempt, your answers, scores, and progress, so we can show your results and improve the Service.
• Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, DodoPayments. We do not see or store your full card details; we receive only confirmation of your purchase and plan status.
• Technical and usage data: cookies needed to keep you signed in, standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and reliability, and product analytics about how pages are used, including session recordings in which the text you type is masked.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account and sign you in.
• To provide the practice tests, score your attempts, and track your progress.
• To process payments and manage your access to paid content.
• To send account emails (sign-in codes, confirmation, receipts) and occasional emails about your practice, which you can stop with one click.
• To understand how the Service is used and fix problems.
• To keep the Service secure and to comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

We share information only with the providers that help us run the Service:

• Supabase: database, authentication, and account storage.
• DodoPayments: payment processing.
• Resend: sending emails.
• Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, and security.
• PostHog (EU region): product analytics and session recordings, only after you accept analytics. Receives your account identifier and email address when you are signed in. Input values in recordings are masked.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@eucognitiveprep.com from the address on your account.

You may also complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work. A list is published by the European Data Protection Board at edpb.europa.eu.

Analytics, and how to change your mind

Analytics are off until you accept them. Nothing analytics-related loads before you choose, and choosing “Necessary only” means PostHog is never initialised.

If you accept analytics and later change your mind, you can withdraw that consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, or by emailing us at support@eucognitiveprep.com and asking us to delete your analytics records.

When you are signed in and have accepted analytics, we pass your account identifier and your email address to PostHog so that product usage can be linked to your account for support and for understanding which parts of the product help people prepare. Session recordings, where captured, have every input field masked, so no email, password or payment detail typed into a form is ever recorded.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Children

The Service is intended for job candidates and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
